COORD3 CMM Bridge | ARES NT

CMM BRIDGE | ARES
ARES HAVE A LOW OVERALL HEIGHT, LOWER THAN MOST CMMS ON THE MARKET, AND ARE ALSO AVAILABLE WITH A LOW-SECTION STAND TO REDUCE THE OVERALL HEIGHT BY AN ADDITIONAL 100 MM.
This feature makes the Ares the ideal solution for control laboratories with low ceilings.
ARES CMMs can be supplied in manual or CNC configuration, with the option to upgrade a manual unit to a full CNC version at a later date.
Two levels of performance are available:
- ARES: for standard applications
- ARES NT: for performance with higher requirements. ARES NT has a silicon carbide Z-axis column that increases the overall rigidity of the measurement platform. This outstanding CMM system for high-precision metrology applications uses the full range of Renishaw scanning technologies.
ARES is available in 500 mm and 700 mm deck width versions and undoubtedly stands out as the ideal CMM for workshops.
Features
- Ultra-rigid alloy frame to ensure maximum rigidity for scanning applications
- Structure with rapid thermal diffusion for changes in environmental conditions
- FEA-designed bridge girder extrusion, allowing optimal moment of inertia for minimal deflection at high accelerations
- M8 threaded table that fits into the large checkerboard layout.
- Rigid air bearings for high bearing clearance coefficients
- Pneumatic counterbalancing of the Z-axis.
- Free-fluctuation resolution measurement scales of 0.1 micron incorporating dynamic signal processing.
- Fully digital motion control with probe path fusion for optimal performance
- Friction reducers with near-zero hysteresis on all axes
- Passive vibration damping system that isolates external vibrations
- Free access to the measurement area from all sides
- Maximum positioning speed: 517 mm/sec
- Maximum acceleration: 1730 mm/sec2
Options
- Laser scanning sensor
- Wireless dynamic thermal compensation of the machine and components
- Pneumatic vibration isolation system
